What to Ask Before Selecting a Training Facility Vendor

Who Tested the Material, and Where’s the Documentation?
Independent, named testing labs and available documentation are a different kind of answer than a general claim of being “tested” or “proven.” Ask to see it before you take it on faith — Amidon publishes exactly this documentation.
What Rating, Under What Standard?
A specific standard (UL 752, for instance) and a specific level within that standard is a checkable claim. A vague reference to being “ballistic-rated” isn’t.
What Does the Material Look Like After Years of Use?
Freeze-thaw durability and long-term field performance matter as much as day-one ballistic performance. A vendor with real installation history should be able to speak to this directly.
Who Else Has Actually Used This Vendor?
A client base that includes agencies with their own rigorous procurement standards is a more meaningful signal than a testimonial page.
