Company History

Amidon Ballistic Concrete is a subsidiary of 360° Ballistics, LLC. and was acquired in 2019 from Amidon Inc. to become a standalone provider of concrete and related products and services. The same patented technologies, key personnel and tools used to perform all previous work under Amidon are in full force. These resources have been combined with new capabilities making Amidon Ballistic Concrete the perfect partner for protecting you, your family, your business and your property.

Richard Kristof

Managing Director, Amidon

Richard Kristof is an accomplished entrepreneur and strategist with over 30 years of experience in technology, education, and business development. As Managing Director of Amidon, he leads innovation in advanced protective materials. He previously served as CEO of ISCoA, where he developed an enterprise-grade EB-5 visa management platform, and as CSO at Global Verification Network, expanding its national footprint. Earlier, he held leadership roles at VenueGen, Authentic Business Intelligence Alliance, and the American Research Institute. A Fairfield University graduate, he also serves on the NC Board of Science, Technology & Innovation.

At Amidon, Richard brings a dynamic blend of operational leadership, business development expertise, and strategic vision, driving the advancement of next-generation ballistic and blast-resistant concrete technologies engineered for real-world resilience.

Mark Buchmann

Managing Director, Amidon

Mark Buchmann, MBA, is a seasoned CEO, author, and decorated U.S. Navy combat veteran with more than 20 years of leadership experience across technology, finance, and strategic investment. As Managing Director at Amidon, he drives innovation in secure infrastructure and advanced material solutions. A former faculty mentor at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering, Mark has authored and edited over 17 technical publications and holds multiple patents in ballistic and blast mitigation. Recognized for his ability to lead organizations, scale operations, and mentor emerging leaders, he brings both strategic insight and operational discipline to every endeavor.

At Amidon, Mark oversees operations with a focus on delivering scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions across the company’s full product line. He leads efforts to ensure precision, quality, and compliance in every project, advancing Amidon's mission to deliver the industry's most reliable and high-performance protective materials.

Mark Siver

Technical Director, Amidon

Mark Siver is the Technical Director at Amidon, bringing over four decades of expertise in precast concrete design, construction engineering, and ballistic barrier innovation. He previously founded and led Triangle Pre-Cast Corporation, Concrete Color and Supply, and Carolina Custom Concrete, specializing in advanced structural and architectural concrete solutions. He is a patented inventor of self-compacting concrete, wet cast retaining walls, and live-fire barrier systems.

Mark oversees all technical development and implementation of new materials and technologies at Amidon. His deep, lifelong understanding of concrete behavior and additive chemistry continues to drive advancements in ballistic and blast-resistant construction materials for defense and infrastructure applications.
